The Patnitop Bypass Road Tunnel is India’s longest road tunnel with a distance of 9.2 kms which commences 2 kms from the town of Chennai south of Patnitop and leads all the way to the Nashri Village located north of Patnitop. However, during winters, this road in blocked due to heavy snowfall and avalanches resulting in roadblocks and traffic. Ensure you carry along basic necessities while travelling through this Bypass Road Tunnel.
