Murudeshwara is a small town in the Uttara Kannada District, Karnataka. Murudeshwara is well known by a lot of people. Murudeshwara lies on the Arabian Sea Coast. Hindu Gods did attain both immortality and invincibility too, by praying a Lingam which is divine in nature hence called as Atma Linga. There is also the presence of Rameshwar Linga at the hill’s bottom, thereby people do seva here. This is because of the presence of the world’s second tallest beautiful Shiva Statue in the Lord Murudeshwara Temple in Karnataka. In the same temple, the 20 storied gopuram is also very famous.
