Makrana is a municipality belonging to the Nagaur District in Rajasthan. Makrana was one among the towns belonging to Thikana Maukala, during British ruled India. Makrana is familiar for the while marbles using which Taj Mahal, and some of places were built. It is situated around 1339 ft above the sea level.
