Igatpuri is a hill station municipal council, which is present in the district of Nashik. It is present in Maharashtra. Igatpuri is rightly situated in the Western Ghats. Igatpuri is at an elevation of 600 m. Igatpuri is knowable for the very reason where the ancient technique of mediation is being taught, referred as Vipassana. This is the best time to be visited in monsoons. It is a hill station as referred earlier, whereby it’s 45km from the place of Nasik. Since its presence is in Western Ghats, people do engage in trekking here. Arthur Lake, Bhatsa River Valley, Ghatandevi temple, Tringalwadi Fort, Amruteshwar temple are worth-mentioning places to visit so.
