Balugan is a railway station in Khudah district in the state of Orissa and it is under East Coast railway zone. The nearest well-known spot is Chilka, one of the biggest ever lakes in the India. In fact Chilka Lake is spread over khurdah, ganjam and puri district. At one point of this huge lake, there is Balugan and on the other side, there is a town called Rambha. So many trains do have a halt in this station and it is one of the important station for both the local people as well as tourists.
