Content or Links - Who is the King/Queen?
Its always a matter of debate that which one is more important than other i.e Content or Link! Everyone had his own logic and perception on this topic.Some peoples will argue for Content and some for links.I am taking this debatable topic to discuss/share my own view.Honestly speaking both content and links are required for a good ranking on all search engine a balanced use of both on your website can give you a BIG boost.
Before going for a dip dive on this topic.I would like to clarify on some basic things.SEO ranking of any website is badly dependent mainly on two things Content & Link. Content tell spiders about website theme, product, services etc? Link establish a “friendly” relationship wit all spiders and invite them to crawl the page on regualr interval.Links are also responsible to establishing “authority” on the internet.
Theoretically i do believe that Content is “more” important than Links or any other things atleast in Natural SEO.Logic is if you have good content on your website , good backlinks will follow automaticaly. Yes..this what google officialy say on their website.
But with my previous experience with many websites/portals i will say that Importance can be decided based on case.For example lets take two case one a website with domain age 1year but no real content , having some links and second website with domain age of 1 year with good content and no link.Assuming both websites are not indexed what you think which one will be indexed first?? Guess Guess…my guarantee Second One !
So who wins in above case Its Second Website with Link.
